Description
Steel stairs
Steel stair fabrication is more in demand today than ever. Stairs are everywhere: in homes, warehouses, workshops, agricultural enterprises and schools — in every building with more than one floor. The variety of options helps customers choose the type best suited to a particular place. Steel stairs have excellent performance characteristics.

Advantages of steel stairs
From a practical point of view, steel structures are the best option, thanks to the following features:
-
Steel stairs serve for a long time and need no special maintenance.
-
If damaged, a steel staircase can be repaired at minimal cost.
-
A steel structure fits well into any interior and looks good regardless of style.
-
A well-made staircase is safe for people — a decisive factor for industrial enterprises. Steel products don’t creak, tolerate sharp temperature drops well and don’t wobble under constant loads.
Steel stairs are quick and easy to dismantle, making transport and installation hassle-free. Both open and closed designs are possible.

Steel stairs for industrial enterprises
Stairs can be vertical or straight-flight. Vertical ladders have no slope and can be with or without a cage; they can be service or fire escape ladders. Dimensions are governed by safety regulations.
A straight-flight staircase may or may not have a landing. The main difference is the slope. With the help of an experienced designer, the customer can choose a model for a specific space.

Steel stair fabrication
Steel stairs can be made to custom drawings or standard designs, from smooth or checker-plate steel. Stairs used in workshops or warehouses must have no sharp edges that could cause injury. Flights are joined by welding.
Treads can be solid or perforated. Perforated treads suit humid premises and are also an excellent choice for balconies and outdoor structures; the open structure prevents damage to the metal and minimizes slipping. The finished product is primed to prevent corrosion, and fire-resistant paint is available.
Fabrication of steel stairs of any complexity, drawing development, documentation and turnkey installation are the core activities of our Metallfors plant. We design taking into account the purpose of the structures, safety regulations and customer requirements, and bear financial responsibility for the quality of work and meeting deadlines.
Fire escape stairs are traditionally made of steel, since truly high-quality products must last a long time and be strong and resistant to mechanical and climatic impacts. This also determines their final cost.
